Refund Policy

1. Digital consulting services
Our services are delivered digitally and consist of professional time, expertise, and documentation. Because of this, refunds are generally tied to milestones rather than time elapsed.
2. Milestone-based payments
Many engagements are structured around milestones (for example, discovery, design, implementation support). Payments are typically associated with the start or completion of a milestone, as described in your proposal.
3. Cancellations before work begins
If you decide to cancel an engagement before we begin work on the first milestone, we will refund any pre-paid amounts for work that has not yet started, less any non-recoverable third-party costs disclosed in advance.
4. Cancellations after work begins
If you cancel after we have started a milestone, we may retain all or part of the associated fee to reflect work already performed. We will always explain how this is calculated based on the agreed scope.
5. Changes to scope
If you request a change to scope that materially affects effort, we will discuss adjustments before proceeding. In some cases this may involve additional fees instead of refunds.
6. How to request a refund
If you believe a refund may be appropriate, please contact us in writing at support@americanrheumanet.online. We will review your request in light of the agreed engagement terms.
